Jesus Tells the Parable of the Fishing Net
47“Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous 50 and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:47-50 (NIV)
This parable is pretty clear to us, at judgement the believers and unbelievers will be separated. The believers will be given eternal life and the unbelievers will be thrown into a fiery furnace (Hell).
Each of us where born as unbelievers, unclean and ignorant to the word. At a certain time in our individual lives we hear of the truth of the gospel, the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That is the time we personally make the decision to accept it or reject it, one or the other. If we accept Jesus into our life it will lead us onto a path of truth, love, forgiveness, constantly learning and applying more of God’s word in our lives. If we reject it, we will never be the same again. We will either be constantly playing the hypocrite, becoming more pious outwardly and more devilish inwardly, or we will turn our back on Christianity altogether and go our own way to become a blatant atheistic, spreading propaganda against God everywhere we go.
Just remember that God is great and merciful and always waiting to take you back. All you have to do is seek Him.
Be blessed today!
